this is me, as soon as i awake, Thursday mornings. gone are the skills employed in making magazines, and the rich red blood in my veins... though sometimes, i see vivid evidence to the contrary. it's replaced by spent motor oil and gunge, and mental schematics diagrams. soon, paint, thinner and various other petrochemicals will be in the mix, too, when the respraying begins. today, these same hands and brain will man stereo equipment, and the mechanics are replaced by electronics. talk about shifting gears. i need a live music infusion. so, i might have to learn how to panhandle, too. |
