this thing has been brewing for a while now. not as violent as the daily fireworks in the sky... but it makes the atmosphere just as heavy. i work with this woman. reminds you of HarryPotter'sHermione, just lots more grown up, and filled out. smart. funny. common interests. open-minded. worldly. communicative. just as married as i am. just as frustrated. just as abandoned. it's the age-old story: an angel on one shoulder, the devil on the other. so, the clouds build. higher. more portentous. crackling with electricity. promising mayhem, or blue skies. if i let it pass, the rut remains. if i act, the flood may sweep everything away. damn, it' s hell being a horny motherfucker. especially a neglected one. almost two years of waiting out the marital drought. my patience wanes. my shoes are starting to squeak. |
