You say Bob Ross and happy little trees like they're bad things. Well, I guess they are, depending on your point-of-view. Sometimes you need eye candy, sometimes you need eye Valium.

HIGH TIMES AT HIGHBURY! HENRY HAT-TRICK! GUNNERS GYMNASTICS! ...ain't it sweet, scudly? can we save some of this for Chelski? no, GW... i give Bob Ross his due. i still can't think of a calmer way to spend a half-hour watching television. my only quarrel is that people who watch only ever painted happy little trees, and nothing else. i'd keep wanting to hide the Kinghts Who Say "NI" back in there, somewhere.

i have plans for my forest, too... at first, i wanted to steal a Wizard Of Oz idea, and fashion a ghost-shaped sign painted "I'd Turn Back If I Were You". lately, i'm considering towers of broken limbs and sticking Viking helmets on them. and a shrubbery. nothing too expensive....

Bob Ross= Muzak with a Prozac chaser, art-wise. By the way, I like your photos on Flickr, especially the Broken Specs one.

Rancid with Hepcat? *sigh* I'd have loved to see that! And I've never seen the Skatalites, but I'd bet you're right.
