around the dial

earlier, when the sun was just emerging from the grey cloak (and i was, myself), i had many pregnant ideas welling up that seemed of the utmost importance. these same ideas would have been quite at home, on this space.

unfortunately, the mindlessness of the past... hmmm... eleven hours of work have dimmed them to obscurity.

just like they used to say, if it's important enough, it'll pop back up at some point.

heavy on my mind now (actually, heavy on my skeletal structure) are the invisible knives digging into the bones of my wrists... goddamn arthritis. should've known that these too thin wrists would be a problem as the days grow short. i knew that it was going to rain before someone mentioned that the sidewalks were wet. what a motherfucker of a clich. the crows come home to roost. that'll teach me to play with chainsaws.

i'm going to have to start eating aspirin like M&Ms.

bitch-bitch-bitch.

as of this afternoon, i've ironed out some details on attending the FormulaOne@Indianapolis in June. since i've never given myself the necessary kick in the ass to go to Montreal... or Belgium... or England... the proximity is just to inviting. ten hour drive.

lo and behold, i'll be traveling with Yoko's most hated friend of mine... SlickWillie... without so much as a mild complaint. more than likely, there will be no furniture when i get back.

that would certainly make things a no-brainer.

vicariously indulging in the RichMan'sSport. if things had been different, i'd prefer to be behind the wheel, meself. of course, there's still the Cortinas in the back yard... if the spirit (and the bank account) wills. more on that as it arrives.

as a final bit of randomness... i've surreptitiously become infected with Tarantin0 films.

damn.

drawn in by soundtrack, impossible gore, inventive filmcraft... and something besides the usual crap. oh, and a sense of humor beyond the scatological doesn't hurt, either.

regression, anyone?
